I often host a Gathering in my home where we get together and learn and enjoy! It's getting to close to the holidays, and few of us have time to head out for one, so let's do some virtual learning!

Are you just brimming with ideas now? A simple trip to the dollar store or hardware store will help you snag bottles and jars. On Amazon, search out "foaming hand soap bottles" and Avery 22807 labels. Amazon and many stores sells Dr. Bronners Baby-Mild Castile Soap and Vegatable glycerin. My water crystals are from WaterSorb, but those can also be found at hardware stores or good ol' Amazon. As we begin the transition from summer to fall, you may find that your routines are shifting again. Going from those long summer days to earlier bedtimes and from planning beach trips to packing lunches, it can be harder to stick to those regular daily habits.

AWESOME OIL HABITS
I want to help you make sure that your health is not something that falls by the wayside! We want to stay ahead of the game this fall and be proactive about using your oils and supplements daily to keep you and your family healthy.
Here are some tips for using your oils and oil-infused products every day …
- Have your oils and supplements OUT and visible. If they are stored deep in a cluttered drawer they will be out of sight, out of mind. Keep them on a stand, a shelf, on a counter, wherever you will SEE them and use them.
- Label and/or organize your oils. Group them in similar colors or organize them alphabetically. You could even set them apart based on certain needs you have.
- Make rollers. Rollers provide a quick, convenient way to dilute your oils and have them ready for application whenever you or your family has a need.
- Pair your oils with other daily activities you’re already accustomed to. Set a roller by your toothbrush so you apply it every morning. Have a bottle of oil and a carafe of water sitting next to your diffuser on your bedside table so you don’t forget to diffuse at bedtime. Set rollers or sprays near the backdoor where you store your shoes or purse and use them on your way out.

Why yes they do! 
It's a bit of a controversial subject, but let me tell you, I used essential oils on my Dog Riley for 9 years, and she was living proof that a high quality, carefully made essential oil is just as beneficial for pets as it is for people.
"But why do I hear how dangerous they are?"
For the same reason people have to be SO careful with oils - there are a lot of toxic ones sold today.
Essential oils are classified by the FDA as "fragrance". A "fragrance" can be anything with a smell. There are many products sold as essential oils that are not at all!
If a company says that their oil actually is made from the Lavender plant, they only need 1% of Lavender extract in it for it to be a legal statement. Yikes!

Companies can make oils quickly and in large quantities with high heat and multiple distillations of the same plant material. They can also make it from older plants not cultivated properly, from dried plants, and from plants grown with toxic pesticides.
Is this starting to make more sense?
If you want to be sure, go right to the company that sells them. Call them! Do they have an advisory board dedicated to animals? Do they have a Seed to Seal guarantee?
